The people who will actually show up
I started Cedar & Co. in 2013 with one van, a secondhand ladder, and a rule I still hold everyone to: if I would not want it in my own house, it does not leave the site.
We are nine people now. Most of our work still arrives the way it did in the first year — someone we did right by mentions us to someone else. That only keeps working if every job is one we would put our name on, so that is the standard, and it is the only one we have.
We live here too. If we get something wrong you are going to run into us at the hardware store on Main, and we would much rather fix it than spend the next five years avoiding you in aisle four.

What is this going to cost me?
It depends on scope, so we do not quote blind and we do not publish a price list that would be wrong for your job. We visit, assess, and send an itemised written quote within two working days. The visit is free and there is no obligation to book.
How soon can you start?
Most new jobs start within two weeks. Existing clients and genuinely urgent situations get a same-week slot wherever we can manage it — call rather than emailing if it is urgent.
Do you cover my area?
We work across Riverton, Northgate, Willow Park and Elm Grove — roughly a thirty-minute drive from Maple Street. If you are not sure, call and we will tell you straight away rather than sending someone on a wasted trip.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licence #OH-4417-C, with $2M liability cover through Northgate Mutual. Every member of the team is background-checked. We are happy to send documentation before anyone sets foot on your property.
What if I am not happy with the work?
Tell us and we come back and put it right at our cost. Everything we do carries a twelve-month workmanship guarantee, and it is written on the quote you sign rather than buried in terms somewhere.
How do I pay?
Card, bank transfer or cheque. Larger jobs are staged, so you pay as each phase is completed rather than everything up front. We never ask for a deposit before the quote is signed.
